Visits we count
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and counts visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. In Cloudflare's words, it “does not use any client-side state, such as cookies or localStorage, to collect usage metrics”. It does not fingerprint visitors and does not collect their personal data.
It sees which pages are opened and how fast they load. It does not record the part of an address after “?”, which is where a shared trip is kept.
What stays in your browser
My trip and a few conveniences live in your browser's local storage. None of it is sent to us.

Clearing this site's data in your browser removes all of it.
Sharing a trip
A shared trip travels inside its link. Anyone with the link can open that trip, and nothing about it is stored on our side.
Everything else
Like any website, the host keeps ordinary server logs. Fonts are served from this site; short Japanese captions use the fonts already on your device. Links to official sites, Google Maps, Booking.com, Agoda and ticket sellers are plain links, without referral codes, and those sites have their own privacy policies.
